There are lots of great exercises for toning up your bum.

But just like when it comes to holidays some are better than others.

If you could go on any holiday you liked would you pick a weekend in Skeggie?

Probably not.

So why would you waste your time doing exercises like Hip Bridges and Leg Extensions if you want to tone up your bum?

Instead you should, injury permitting, be doing exercises like squats and lunges.

Those are the 5 star all inclusive holiday to the Maldives of bum exercises.

But you don't have to pay the 5 star prices, they are free and you can do them anywhere!

Running is also a great way of toning your bum and legs.

In fact if you do running and exercise your legs on top of that you may end up with an over developed thighs and bum.

It depends how your overall exercise routine is structured.

Speaking of running, the Race For Life is coming up in June.

We will hopefully be entering a Boost Your Body team and raising money for such a good cause.

As part of that I have designed an 8 week running programme to go from novice to being able to jog for 30 minutes without feeling like a lung is about to collapse.

It's aimed totally at beginners and is designed specifically to get you in decent shape before the big day.
